Innocence is one of the cornerstones of success in ruchniyus. “If we only possessed the innocence that Jews throughout the generations possessed, then we wouldn’t need parenting courses—which are the most popular personal development courses in today’s world, across the board,” a spokesperson in the Educational Department in Pele Yoetz Center states.
In this day and age, when innocence dissipates at a startlingly young age, it is incumbent upon us as parents to take initiative rather than wait for problems to start and take root. “War requires strategic thinking,” expresses Hagaon Harav Dovid Levy, shlit”a, Nasi of Pele Yoetz Center. It was with this foundation that he crafted the Pele Yoetz Center Parenting Course syllabus which was built to provide parents with clear guidance, direction and tools that empower them to set boundaries, create an atmosphere of firm parental authority, and teach spiritual values that children can absorb with joy and personal fulfillment. The combination of these three facets endows our children with the tools and capacity to flourish in a happy, positive, supportive and helpful environment.

In the last two years since the pilot course was first launched, Pele Yoetz Center’s Parenting Course has become one of the courses in highest demand in the charedi public, providing hundreds of parents from around Israel with the capacity to rebuild their homes, rectify wrongs, and start a new page in anything pertaining to child-rearing or education.
“[The course] opened my eyes!” many parents gratefully exclaim.
Others attest: “In a single moment, our entire approach to life changed. From a place of distress and anxiety, we rebuilt, and now we are on a curve of growth and understanding in child education.”
Pele Yoetz Center’s Parenting course encompasses 1½ hour meetings once a week for 8 weeks and is designated for both parents. Men and women are seated in separate halls, simultaneously absorbing brilliant teachings and lessons from experienced lecturers and noted mechanchim who cover all important foundations in chinuch.
Pele Yoetz Center’s Course Department is already planning the upcoming summer course. Geared to therapists, the course features new professional content, innovative therapy tools, and valuable knowledge.
